Notably the pop-in which seemed to be still an issue. The common sticking point seems to be the more technical aspect of the game. This is especially notable with Kotaku and DigitalTrends because they were actually mixed about the game after playing at SGF back in June but ended up liking it quite a bit in the newest build of the game. Some aspects that they had fun with were different IGN for instance had fun with the traversal but didn't like the bosses that much while Shakenews liked the minibosses a lot, but overall all of them seemed to have a good time with the game. Some of them pointed out cyberspace as being one of the bigger draws. A few liked the puzzles and the Titan fights. A few liked how open the game was such as being able to fight a boss and then mid-fight run away to explore. Everyone of them so far seemed to like the traversal and the combat overall. The day is still young, and I expect more previews to drop but so far there hasn't been a single negative review posted.Ī common refrain among all the reviewers were that they liked the game and had fun playing it and wanted to play more. It's a good sign that every single review posted so far for the 6 hour gameplay has been pretty damn positive.
